Max Age Timer

Specifies the length of time a bridge will consider the network topology held

in memory as valid.

Values: 1−65535 s

Default: 60 s

Forward Delay

Specifies the length of time to delay creation of a temporary loop in the

network.

Values: 1−65535 s

Default: 5 s

Filter Ageing Timer

Specifies the length of time an entry in the lookup table will be held if no

traffic is received from the specified MAC Address.

Values: 1−65535 s

Default: 300 s

Selecting the Bridge Port Table prompt displays the screen shown below in

Figure 4.63. Selecting a number in the “Index” column of the Bridge Port

Table will bring up the Bridge Port Details screen (Figure 4.64), which

displays, and, in some cases, lets you change, these parameters.
